Program Description
This three-day program will meet the educational needs of new and experienced healthcare professionals. The content will encompass emerging practices and technologies, patients’ psychosocial needs, ethical and legal issues, and regulatory requirements.
Target Audience
Nurses, nurse managers, nurses in advanced practice roles, and support personnel in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, obstetrics and gynecology, and women’s health will benefit from this symposium.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:
- Apply emerging research and technologies in reproductive healthcare to nursing clinical practice
- Recognize the psychosocial issues faced by patients, donors, and surrogates who undergo assisted reproductive technologies
- Describe the ethical and legal issues surrounding assisted reproductive technologies
